With this package you get 5 flexible skiing days to a discounted day-price, during a 7 day period, with your private ski guide from us. Se we can spend the best days of your week in Tromsø out skiing!

We know our guests value flexibility — that’s why this package includes two rest days to recharge, explore Tromsø, and make the most of the best weather for skiing.

You will experience:

Five exceptional days of ski touring led by knowledgeable, local guides.

Professional ski instruction and assistance with equipment and technique.
A pace suited for both beginners and experienced skiers.

Together with the guide, you will decide where and when to meet.

Typical departure from Tromsø city during the skiing days is at 08:30.

Booking

Booking and prices are per group. The maximum group size per guide is 6 people.

Choose the group size that matches your group in the booking options below (1–2, 3–4, or 5–6 people).

For groups larger than 6 people, you must book 2 or more guides and have to contact us directly.

Accommodation

Our partner Lauklines Kystferie offers accommodation for this ski touring package. In their charming and modern Rorbuer (fishermans cabins) by the sea at Kvaløya, you will find perfect rest between the touring days. Their lodge by the ocean is a perfect starting point for your touring days, and they also offer boat transport to ski tour on the remote islands outside Kvaløya! Accommodation is not included in this package, and you need to sort that out yourself. Let us know if you need accommodation when booking your ski-package with us!

What is included:

Five days of guiding and instruction from a local guide.
Skiing in varied terrain adapted to the group’s level.
Suitable for adults and children aged 15 and up.
Explore the Tromsø region and experience a great variety of mountains from north to south.

What is not included:

Ski touring equipment: Rental available from www.tromsooutdoor.com.
Transport to the mountain: Use your own car or choose the “transport/driving included” option when booking.
Avalanche safety equipment: Rent from us or from www.tromsooutdoor.com.
Clothing suitable for ski touring.
Accommodation & food: this package only consist of the guiding in the mountains. Accommodation in Tromsø, food, travels, other activities etc. you need to organise yourself.

Included / Not included

Please ensure you bring the following items:

Ski-touring equipment (touring skis/splitboard, ski touring/snowboard boots, poles & skins)
Avalanche equipment (shovel, probe and avalanche beacon)
Ski crampons or splitboard crampons (mandatory)
Backpack 30-40 liter
Helmet & ski goggles
Windproof and waterproof shell jacket and pants
Down Jacket
Mid-layer fleece
Wool or synthetic fiber base layer
Wool socks
Two pairs of gloves/mittens
Beanie
Sunglasses, sun protection, and sports tape
Headtorch
1.5 litres of hot or cold beverage
Snacks and adequate food for a full-day excursion

IMPORTANT: For safety reasons, always pack an additional down jacket or vest, along with a beanie and two pairs of mittens / ski gloves in each group members backpack. A rescue situation caused by a troubled knee will last at least 3-4 hours.

Equipment

Responsibility:

As a guest, you have a co-responsibility for following the instructions and recommendations of the guide. In addition, you are obliged by Norwegian law to tell the guide or Tromsø Ski Guides if you have any injuries or medical conditions that may affect the trip as a whole.

Insurance:

Tromsø Ski Guides has liability insurance for our guides. We do not offer travel insurance, cancellation insurance or accident insurance to our guests. All guests must purchase their own travel and accident insurance through their own insurance agency.

Cancelation policy:

All prices includes a 5% administration fee, this is non-refundable. For the remaining trip price, the following terms for refund applies in case of a cancellation. If you cancel the trip:

More than 45 days before: Full refund of the trip price to your account or as a TSG gift card (without the non-refundable 5% admin fee).
30-45 days before: 50% refund of the trip price to your account or as a TSG gift card.
10-30 days before: 25% refund of the trip price to your account or as a TSG gift card.
Less than 10 days before & no-show: No refund.

In case of very bad weather or conditions, we will do our very best to offer a different and better area for our ski adventure. In case of exceptionally bad weather, where the guide has to cancel the tour, you will have a full refund minus the 5% admin fee.
